Japanese model manufacturer Sentinel's popular alloy action figure 『RIOBOT』 series has announced the commercialization of its latest product, 「Vysaga」, from 《Super Robot Wars OG》. The release date is yet to be determined.
First appearing in 《Super Robot Wars A》, the Super Robot protagonist unit VR-02 Vysaga is a special machine designed for sword combat, resembling a black knight draped in a vibrant red cape. It possesses both high mobility and defense, capable of evading attacks using its clone ability, and its back cape can also serve as a shield for defense. Vysaga is equipped with melee armaments such as the Godai Ken (Five Great Swords), kunai, and claws, capable of unleashing impressive techniques like Retsu Ka Jin (Blazing Fire Blade), Suiryu Soga (Water Flow Claw Fang), Chizan Jikku To (Earth Slash Sky Blade), and Ougi: Kousen Zan (Secret Art: Light Blade Slash).
The development prototype for 「RIOBOT Vysaga」 has been revealed, showcasing a size and intricate design comparable to the 「Soulgain」. Its distinctive red cape on the back is crafted from fabric and features an internal metal wire for poseability, allowing for dynamic battle poses in conjunction with the figure's highly articulated body and its 「Godai Ken」 (Five Great Swords) weapon.
