BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division, Japan, has announced the latest product from its highly popular character model kit series『Figure-rise Standard』, 「Silence Suzuka」 from "Uma Musume Pretty Derby", scheduled for release in January 2025.
One of the protagonists active in the first season of the anime, Silence Suzuka, is a quiet Uma Musume with a mysterious and ethereal aura. She is always fully focused, dedicating her time to her beloved racing, and is not adept at interacting with others. She excels at maintaining a leading position throughout the race, never yielding the front view to anyone. Her prototype comes from the real-life racehorse of the same name, active between 1997 and 1998. Although she achieved six consecutive wins in 1998 and was regarded as a rising star, her body gradually became overwhelmed. Ultimately, during the Tenno Sho (Autumn) race in the same year, she suffered a comminuted fracture of her left leg and was euthanized on the same day after being deemed incurable. In the anime, Silence Suzuka also suffers a fracture, but fortunately, in this kind world, she miraculously recovers.
The 「Figure-rise Standard Silence Suzuka」 will continue to utilize the color separation and part division techniques employed in the previous two releases. With precise part segmentation, multi-color molded parts will faithfully reproduce the rich colors of her hair, ears, hair tie, accessories, racing uniform, and other details. It also features a flexible articulation structure, allowing for the recreation of Silence Suzuka's elegant running poses through the front-and-back split skirt and shoes, and articulated long hair base.
For accessories, it includes 4 pairs of interchangeable hand parts, a pre-printed "smiling face," and two additional face parts that can be created using the included water-slide decals. Coupled with a clear articulated display stand that connects to her back, you can securely pose her in a variety of dynamic stances.
