TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectible toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, has announced the commercialization of its latest product, "(Ka signature) Full Armored Huckebein," from "Super Robot Wars DD," as part of the "METAL ROBOT Damashii" series, which features metallic paint finishes and alloy frames. It will be available for sale later on BANDAI's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
The new form, "RTX-008-02FA Full Armored Huckebein," which has never appeared before, will debut in the mobile game "Super Robot Wars DD" in late September. This unit is released to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the "Huckebein's" birth. Its color scheme differs from the dark blue commonly seen in the OG series, instead adopting the light blue from its first appearance in "Super Robot Wars 4."
It can be seen that the overall design, weapon system, and "Huckebein 30th" are not just similar, but identical. According to series consultant Takanobu Terada, this unit is a redesign of the "Huckebein 30th" from "Super Robot Wars 30," which shared the same concept, brought back to the OG world. In its setting, the original Huckebein is rebuilt, maintaining its Black Hole Engine power source and equipped with weapons used by successor models, thereby achieving attack power equivalent to its successors.
