Japanese brand GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series, POP UP PARADE, is releasing a new product based on the popular anime "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 5: Golden Wind" – the "Giorno Giovanna" non-scale pre-painted figure. It has a suggested retail price of 4,800 JPY and is scheduled for release in February 2025!
Giorno Giovanna (ジョルノ・ジョバァーナ), the fifth JoJo, is the child born to Dio, the Joestar family's sworn enemy, and a Japanese woman. Because the part of Dio below the head, which was resurrected during the Stardust Crusaders expedition, belonged to the first JoJo, Jonathan Joestar, Giorno possesses the genes of both Dio and the Joestar family. When facing allies, he exhibits the kindness of the Joestar family, but when confronting enemies, he reveals Dio's cold-blooded cruelty.
This POP UP PARADE Giorno Giovanna figure stands approximately 17 cm tall. It is sculpted based on Giorno's dynamic pose from his official character artwork, faithfully recreating his profound facial features and flamboyant hairstyle. His magnificent pinkish-purple open-chested attire reveals his toned chest, with intricate wrinkle details sculpted onto the clothing. The way the bottom edge of his shirt and his braids flutter gives this relatively static pose a powerful visual tension, showcasing his ambition to become a "Gang-Star"!
