The original plastic model series "30 MINUTES" by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division has a spin-off, "30 MINUTES FANTASY", which officially announced the release of a new class, "Rosan Priest", and armor upgrade parts, "Class Up Armor (Rosan Bishop)", scheduled for February 2025.
"30 MINUTES FANTASY" is a new series themed around various fantasy world classes. It inherits the "30 MINUTES" characteristics of easy assembly, simple structure, and infinite customization. It allows for the assembly of highly articulated base bodies that move as flexibly as the human body. By utilizing the 3mm expansion ports on various parts of the base body, different class exteriors can be attached. As the product lineup expands, characters can gradually upgrade from beginner classes to advanced classes, continuously strengthening their roles much like a job change system in an RPG.
The story is set in a world that has lost its civilization. Due to meteor showers impacting Earth, the environment underwent drastic changes, and "Elements," substances harmful to humans, rapidly spread, causing a significant population decline. To overcome this crisis, a group of scientists successfully developed "Element Cores" and mechanical lifeforms called "Maximilian (tentative translation)." Humans utilized their power to regain the ability to survive and established multiple nations, including the "Libre Republic," which chose to coexist with Maximilian, and the "Rosan Empire," which chose to dominate Maximilian.
The new class introduced this time is the "Rosan Priest" from the Rosan Empire faction. The base body boasts a flexibility akin to real human movement, allowing for natural and cool poses such as running, hero landings, high kneeling, and cross-legged sitting, thanks to the articulated mechanisms in the limbs, chest, waist, neck, and other areas. A fire-attribute Element Core is installed in the chest. By attaching armor, a staff, and other parts to various sections, the "Rosan Priest" is completed, featuring a skull-shaped head that differs from the opposing "Libre Priest" faction.
By combining with the separately sold "Class Up Armor (Rosan Bishop)" and equipping the parts to the head, shoulders, chest, waist, arms, legs, and staff, you can "armor change" and advance to the "Rosan Bishop" class. This product also predominantly uses black and purple molded parts to express the imposing style and enhanced abilities of the Empire faction. The cool antler-shaped headpiece also differs from the opposing "Libre Bishop" faction.
