The original plastic model kit series "30 MINUTES" from BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division in Japan has officially announced that its spin-off, "30 MINUTES FANTASY", will release new classes, "Liber Archer" and "Rosan Archer", in March 2025.
"30 MINUTES FANTASY" is a new series themed around various fantasy world classes. It inherits the "30 MINUTES" characteristics of easy assembly, simple structure, and infinite customization. It allows for the assembly of highly articulated base bodies that are as flexible as the human body. By utilizing the 3mm expansion ports on various parts of the base body, different class exteriors can be attached. As the product lineup expands, characters can gradually upgrade from beginner to advanced classes, continuously strengthening them like a job change system in an RPG game.
The story is set in a world that has lost its civilization. Due to meteor showers impacting Earth, the environment underwent drastic changes, and the human-harming substance "Element" rapidly spread, causing a significant population decline. To overcome this predicament, a group of scientists successfully developed "Element Cores" and mechanical lifeforms called "Maximilian (tentative translation)". Humans utilized their power to restore their ability to survive and established multiple nations, including the "Liber Republic," which chose to coexist with Maximilian, and the "Rosan Empire," which chose to dominate Maximilian.
This release introduces the third class, "Archer", for both the Liber Republic and Rosan Empire factions. Although both utilize wind-attributed Element Cores and similar body structures, their armor designs feature distinct color schemes. The Liber Archer uses metallic green-toned armor, matching the wind-attributed Element Core, while the Rosan Archer maintains its characteristic black and purple color scheme. Furthermore, the helmet designs for both are completely different.
The articulated base body used by the Archers possesses flexibility and articulation akin to real humans. With articulated mechanisms in the limbs, chest, waist, neck, and other areas, it can be posed in natural and cool stances such as running, heroic landings, high kneeling, and cross-legged sitting. The model is completed by attaching armor, the great bow, quiver, and other parts to the universal 3mm ports on each section.
The arrowheads of the bow and arrow utilize metallic parts to express a sharp texture. The bowstring of the great bow is made from a special ultra-fine sticker with strong adhesive processing only at both ends, allowing for more realistic and powerful bow-drawing poses.
