Released by the HOBBY Division of BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd. Japan, the 1/100 scale Gundam plastic model "MG (Master Grade)" series, known for its excellent part separation, internal frame structure, and extensive articulation, is finally releasing its second product from "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans" after many years, following "Gundam Barbatos". This new release is "Gundam Vidar", scheduled for March 2025.

The ASW-G-XX Gundam Vidar was repaired from the Gundam Kimaris Trooper and is equipped with a third Ahab Reactor and disguised armor. Its true form is the "Gundam Vidar Kimaris", the mobile suit used by Gaelio Bauduin, who survived McGillis's betrayal, donned a mask, and took on the alias "Vidar". This mobile suit is equipped with the "Alaya-Vijnana System Type E," a combat assistance system developed using the brain of the deceased Ein Dalton. It can achieve reaction speeds and mobility comparable to the traditional Alaya-Vijnana System, while eliminating the risks of high-risk implantation surgery and severe burden on brain nerves.

The "MG 1/100 Gundam Vidar" has been thoroughly supervised by mechanical designer Ippei Gyobu. The characteristic "Gundam Frame" from the series is an improved version based on parts used for the previous Gundam Barbatos, further expanding the range of motion of the shoulder joints. Corresponding to Gundam Vidar's distinctive leg design, not only do the knee armor and thrusters articulate when the legs bend, but the hunter's blades on the front and back of the feet can also deploy to recreate attack poses.

By replacing parts, the cockpit can reproduce both the activated and deactivated states of the "Alaya-Vijnana System Type E". Weapon accessories include a rifle with a detachable magazine, several "Burst Sabers" stored in sheaths on both sides, and two pistols featuring an original model "recoil" articulation mechanism, which can be combined with the main body's flexible articulation to recreate battle scenes from the series.
