BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division, which produces the "HG (High Grade)" model kit series, today announced the latest product from "The King of Braves GaoGaiGar", "ChoRyuJin", scheduled for release in January 2025.
ChoRyuJin is the combined form achieved through "Symmetrical Docking" when the twin Brave Robots Hyoryu and Enryu, belonging to the "GGG Mobile Unit," achieve a mental synchronization rate of 90% or higher. It possesses performance comparable to GaoGaiGar and integrates the personalities and abilities of both Hyoryu and Enryu. It can simultaneously fire high-temperature and low-temperature energy projectiles from the cannons mounted on its arms and sides of its waist. Furthermore, it can equip the specialized Megaton Tool "Eraser Head" to neutralize energy generated by explosions or force fields, used for disaster relief or assisting GaoGaiGar in combat.
"HG ChoRyuJin" utilizes multi-color molded parts, clear parts, and plastic stickers to construct the two Brave Robots, Hyoryu and Enryu, featuring rich colors and detailed sculpting. Through a "System Conversion" transformation mechanism made with dedicated parts, they can transform from crane/fire truck modes into robot modes. In crane/fire truck modes, Hyoryu's crane arm and Enryu's ladder can extend and retract via a sliding mechanism.
After transforming into robot mode, both include multiple interchangeable hand parts and two expression options: a normal face and a shouting face. In addition to their individual armaments – the Freezing Rifle, Freezing Pistol, Melting Rifle, Melting Pistol, and Mirror Shield – both units' chest armor features an unfolding mechanism, allowing them to recreate the poses for their special moves, "Chest Freeze" and "Chest Warm".
By reassembling parts, Hyoryu and Enryu can recreate ChoRyuJin after "Symmetrical Docking." Dedicated interchangeable parts are also included to maximize both articulation and accurate styling, allowing for dynamic battle poses closer to its appearance in the show. The crane arm and ladder units can be equipped on the arms as staves, or deployed from the waist to recreate shooting mode.
