Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company HOBBY Division has announced the 21st new product in its "POKEPLA Collection Quick!!" sub-series of Pokémon-themed model kits: "PLAMO QUICK!! Psyduck". The suggested retail price is 715 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in January 2025.
The "POKEPLA QUICK!!" series emphasizes an easier, faster, and safer assembly experience. With simple parts and minimal stickers, no tools are required for assembly, and parts can be easily removed by hand. These user-friendly features allow beginner modelers and children to easily get started and quickly assemble their favorite Pokémon.
The "Pokémon PLAMO Collection Quick!! Psyduck" stands approximately 90 mm tall after assembly. It uses parts molded in four colors – off-white, yellow, white, and black – to recreate Psyduck's signature head-clutching pose, with its three "ahoge" (cowlicks) on its head also perfectly reproduced. It can be completed with just 13 parts and includes three eye sticker options, offering different gaze angles that are all equally adorably bewildered! When paired with the "Slowpoke" from the same series, you can enjoy a fun scene of best friends meeting and being silly together~
