BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division in Japan has announced today that the latest product in the "SDW HEROES" series of model kits, "SDW HEROES GF Gundam Astraea Type-F", is scheduled for release in March 2025.
The story background corresponding to the three new units of the announced trio team, "Captain Qan[T] GF", "GF Gundam Astraea Type-B", and "GF Gundam Astraea Type-F", has not yet been revealed. It is only known that their mobile suit prototypes are derived from the 00 Qan[T], Gundam Astraea Type-B, and Type-F from the "Mobile Suit Gundam 00" series. In addition to their individual armaments, each of the three units is equipped with large, jet-black equipment. From the silhouettes in the background of the promotional image and official hints of a combination mechanism, it can be inferred that combining the three large pieces of equipment will form a massive mobile suit resembling a "Fortress Emperor".
"SDW HEROES GF Gundam Astraea Type-F" is also designed by Toshinao Miyauchi, the mechanical designer for the "SDW HEROES" series. The entire model utilizes molded color parts and clear green parts to reproduce high-density detailed styling and GN-type armament aesthetics. The handheld beam saber can combine with the shield. The large components mounted on both shoulders and legs appear to be Avalanche Dash units, but a look from behind reveals two large fists exposed, which are also part of the unrevealed combination mechanism.
