From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company HOBBY Division, the robot model kit 'HG (High Grade)' series has revealed a silhouette of its latest product from "Super Robot Wars OG", the "Weissritter". Detailed product information will be announced soon.
The PTX-007-03C Weissritter is a PT (Personal Trooper) specialized for artillery combat, modified from the "Gespenst Mk-II Type T" within the ATX Project, known for its extreme machine designs. It is piloted by Excellen Browning and operates in tandem with the "Alt Eisen", a decisive close-combat PT piloted by Kyosuke Nanbu. The Weissritter is equipped with a Tesla Drive and features significantly lightened armor throughout, making it the first PT capable of independent flight in humanoid form. While possessing excellent mobility, its durability and defense are extremely low, making it ideal for providing rear support to the Alt Eisen using long-range armaments such as the "Rifle Cannon".
The "HG Weissritter" is also designed in the style of Masami Obari from the anime version, while also incorporating the original "Gespenst Modified" settings by Weissritter's designer, Kazue Saito. This aims to showcase designs and mechanisms evolved from the "HG Gespenst", and also intends to differentiate itself from previous SR Chogokin versions (Obari's style) and Kotobukiya model kit versions (Saito's style), which each presented the two designers' styles separately.
