As one of the special projects celebrating the 50th anniversary of BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd.'s Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS' popular alloy toy series "Chogokin," the legendary "Azuki Bar Robo" (あずきバーロボ), created in collaboration with the long-established Japanese ice cream brand Imuraya, has finally been officially announced! It is scheduled for release in April 2025, with a suggested retail price of 12,500 JPY.
The Azuki Bar, produced by Japan's Imuraya, is not only affordable, delicious, and made with pure ingredients, but it also boasts an unimaginably super-hard texture! This "Azuki Bar Robo," a collaboration between Chogokin and Imuraya, truly represents a "harder on hard" ultimate joint effort, making it an absolute dream collectible. Crafted to a 1:1 scale of the actual Azuki Bar, this robot weighs approximately 240 grams, with an impressive alloy content of 95%. In its popsicle mode, it perfectly showcases the surface texture and the iconic azuki bean pattern of the Imuraya Azuki Bar. Displayed on a special Chogokin base, it exudes unparalleled prestige! And rest assured, it will absolutely not melt.
The appearance of the robot mode evokes the image of a samurai from Japan's Sengoku period, seemingly a daimyo overseeing the Imuraya azuki confectionery family! Beyond the faint pink of the original Azuki Bar, it boldly displays a heavy metallic texture, intricate mechanical detailing, and numerous gold accents that exude a luxurious aura! Popsicle-shaped "Imuraya" and "Azuki Bar" flags can also be mounted on its back. Its weapon is a katana transformed from a popsicle stick; but don't let the rounded tip lull you into a false sense of security, for the Azuki Bar Robo will unleash its devastating special move, "Imura Ichizu-ryu Akatsuki Hyogazan," to deliver a thorough beating!
