American toy brand Sideshow Collectibles' Premium Format series has launched a new Marvel Comics-themed product – "The Hulk: Gamma Smash" 1/4 scale collectible statue, with a suggested retail price of US$850, limited to 150 pieces worldwide, and is now available for order on the Sideshow official website!
We believe everyone is familiar with the origin of the Hulk. First appearing in The Incredible Hulk #1, scientist Bruce Banner was exposed to a large amount of gamma radiation from a gamma bomb he created, causing his body to mutate. Whenever he becomes emotional, he transforms into a giant green monster – the Hulk.
This "The Hulk: Gamma Smash" 1/4 scale collectible statue is based on the previously released Classic Hulk and Red Hulk statues, crafted with a modern aesthetic. It depicts him leaping furiously from a base of rubble and rebar. The torn shirt and the Hulk's astonishing muscle details are meticulously sculpted, with vein textures giving the muscles a visual effect of being ready to burst at any moment. The paintwork creates a biological feel, with hints of flesh tone within the green, and even the yellowish hue and luster of his teeth are exquisitely reproduced. Standing approximately 71.1 cm tall, its large size further exudes an undeniable power and presence!
A Grey Hulk version will also be released later; lining them up will look incredibly cool!
