The popular assembly model candy toy series "SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT," released by BANDAI CANDY, the candy toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product from "Seiju Sentai Gingaman," "Gingaioh Black Version," scheduled for release in February 2025. This product will be sold exclusively on Bandai's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
Gingaioh is a giant robot formed by the combination of the Silver Beast partners of Seiju Sentai Gingaman: GingaLeon, GingaFalcon, GingaGorilla, GingaWolf, and GingaCat. Its body is composed of "Ginga Steel," the strongest metal in the world, condensed from the power of the Star Beasts. It can also unleash powerful combat abilities using weapons such as the "Ginga Sword." In the middle of the story, after the Gingaman obtained the super energy body "Lights of Ginga," Gingaioh transformed into its enhanced form, "Super Armor Shine Gingaioh," increasing its overall output fivefold and allowing it to perform the special move Ginga Great Beast King Slash with the enhanced Super Ginga Sword.
"SMP Gingaioh Black Version" is a modification of the previously released standard version. The molded colors of the parts for the five Ginga Beasts, all weapon accessories, the pre-painted colors, and the stickers have all been replaced with a cool black and gold color scheme, recreating the product colors of the "DX Chogokin Gingaioh Black Version" finished toy released by Bandai in 2010.
The overall design is the same as the standard version. Through transformation mechanisms and by replacing some parts, the five Ginga Beasts can combine into the black version of Gingaioh, featuring a cool physique and flexible articulation, allowing for dynamic battle poses using weapons such as the Ginga Sword and Ginga Falcon Bow.
The previously sold "Super Armor Shine" enhancement parts have also been modified with the black and gold color scheme and are included this time. They can be equipped on Gingaioh's head, chest, and Ginga Sword to recreate the enhanced form "Super Armor Shine Gingaioh."
