Yesterday (24th), Danish toy company LEGO's "LEGO Icons" series, aimed at adult LEGO fans, unveiled its latest Winter Village themed product: "10339 Santa's Post Office"! It is scheduled for release on October 4, 2024, with a suggested retail price of US$99.99.
LEGO's annual autumn staple, the "Winter Village" theme, is characterized by snow-covered buildings and minifigures mostly dressed in thick, warm clothing. Coupled with romantic elements like Santa Claus, helper elves, gift-giving, and winter travel, continuous collection significantly expands the storyline, making it an excellent standalone theme set. This set's vibe reminds one of the No. 10222 Post Office, but this time infused with Santa Claus elements. With 1440 pieces, once assembled, you get a two-story building measuring 21 cm high and 28 cm long, and it can even dock a hot air balloon! It's absolutely adorable.

In this story's setting, elves ride hot air balloons to various corners of the Winter Village to collect letters, then fly back to Santa's Post Office for sorting. So, once the hot air balloon is docked, a large number of letters can be deposited and (manually) sorted in the scanning system, finally entering either the red or green transport carts. A major highlight of the interior is the letter chute, which is great fun with its two-way letter sorter. Other features like the warm fireplace and the second-floor workspace are also well-presented, and the building's exterior is exceptionally beautiful, not only with thick snow but also with an excellent blue and brown alternating main color scheme.
▼ The hot air balloon also features a light brick. It's worth noting that the gold and green pieces forming the hot air balloon are the same Golden Snitch wings from the original "76391 Hogwarts Icons - Collectors' Edition".
