As "Venom: The Last Dance" gears up for its release later this month, star Tom Hardy recently took to Instagram, seemingly bidding an emotional farewell to the franchise's vast fanbase.
Hardy thanked fans for their unwavering support throughout the "Venom" trilogy, appearing to confirm that this will indeed be his final outing as the beloved Marvel anti-hero:
"This is the last dance for the big guy, and we promise it’s the best one yet. We’ve had so much fun making these. Thank you for the love and support — come and enjoy the last dance with us! For all of you who love this series — let us bring you more joy."

It wasn't until the latest trailer for "Venom: The Last Dance" dropped that audiences finally confirmed the live-action debut of Knull, the Symbiote God and creator. While details surrounding his role in the film remain scarce, new rumors not only hint at his significance but also suggest an unexpectedly fitting actor will portray the character.

According to industry insider Daniel RPK, Andy Serkis is set to portray Knull through motion capture, a performance style he is renowned for. Serkis, who directed "Venom: Let There Be Carnage," is no stranger to the franchise. If the rumors prove true, he would become the second actor from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to cross over into Sony's Venom-verse as a villain, following Chiwetel Ejiofor.
Serkis previously played the villain Ulysses Klaue in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and "Black Panther." Ejiofor, known for his role as Baron Mordo in the "Doctor Strange" films, will appear in "Venom: The Last Dance" as the commander of a force dedicated to collecting symbiotes.

Furthermore, given Hardy's intriguing post, Daniel RPK also hinted that the plot of "Venom: The Last Dance" appears to lay groundwork for other series. Previous rumors have suggested the anti-hero could officially join the MCU in a potential "Spider-Man 4" or even appear in the upcoming "Avengers: Secret Wars." With the multiverse in full swing, such crossovers seem entirely plausible, though the ultimate narrative direction rests on the final consensus between Sony and Marvel executives. "Venom: The Last Dance" is slated for a global release on October 23.
