Rumor: "Hogwarts Legacy" Ultimate Edition in Development, Could Add 10-15 Hours of New Content

Released on February 10, 2023, "Hogwarts Legacy," the "Harry Potter" series spin-off game, achieved critical acclaim and sold over 22 million units, prompting Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to greenlight more "Potterverse" titles. Now, recent reports from foreign media suggest that the development team has begun work on an "Ultimate Edition" for the AAA wizarding world title, which has been out for over a year.

According to gaming outlet Insider Gaming, the rumored "Hogwarts Legacy Ultimate Edition" is expected to add approximately 10 to 15 hours of new gameplay. This additional content will reportedly include new main quests, side quests, various in-game activities, and cosmetic outfits.

For players who already own the base game, this new content is anticipated to be released as a paid DLC. Pricing is rumored to be between $20 and $30, a potential adjustment influenced by the underperformance of Warner Bros.'s "Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League."

While no official release date has been announced for the "Hogwarts Legacy Ultimate Edition," Insider Gaming speculates that it could launch sometime in 2025.
