While Taiwan and China have recently seen a surge in "fake Jay Chou" trends, the US has likewise embraced its own "Timothée Chalamet Look-Alike Contest." Numerous contestants bearing a striking resemblance to the Hollywood star gathered in New York's Madison Square Park, where even the real Timothée Chalamet himself made a surprise appearance, joining the ultimate showdown of "real vs. fake Sweet Tea."
On Sunday, Timothée Chalamet arrived at the event dressed in his costume from the upcoming biopic "A Complete Unknown," officially entering the "Timothée Chalamet Look-Alike Contest." He posed for photos with the assembled fans, which were then shared across social media. Interestingly, the real Chalamet ultimately did not win the competition; instead, victory went to 21-year-old Miles Mitchell from Staten Island, who was dressed as "Wonka."

The "Timothée Chalamet Look-Alike Contest" was initially promoted through flyers posted across New York City, inviting participants to scan a QR code to access the event website and register. By Sunday afternoon, nearly 2,700 people had signed up online for the "fake Sweet Tea" competition, with the winner set to receive a $50 prize.
