The assembly model『MODEROID』series, launched by Japan's MECHA SMILE brand, has announced the latest product from《Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet》,「Chamber」, which is scheduled for release in August 2025.
Chamber is a mass-produced anti-Hideauze extermination weapon widely utilized by the Human Galactic Alliance military. In addition to being equipped with various beam weapons, firearms, and defensive armaments, it also features an AI capable of assisting in combat, educating pilots, and piloting the unit autonomously. The unit piloted by protagonistLedo is Chamber with the designation「K6821」. When Ledo was stranded on Earth, K6821 served multiple roles, including translator, caretaker, and laborer, supporting Ledo's survival in this foreign land. As Ledo gradually revealed his emotions and self through interaction with Earthlings, K6821 was also influenced, breaking free from the ideological constraints of the Galactic Alliance. Ultimately, it even fulfilled Ledo's will to live, choosing to sacrifice itself to destroy the attacking allied forces.
The「MODEROID Chamber」utilizes multiple molded color parts and pre-painted sticker parts to largely recreate its appearance from the series, and also includes water-slide decals to reproduce various markings and lines. Once assembled, it stands approximately 15 cm tall, precisely replicating the unit's rounded armor design and intricate panel line details. It also features flexible articulated joints, allowing for dynamic posing. Furthermore, the head can recreate the cockpit separation mechanism, bringing to life Chamber's moving scene of self-sacrifice.
Its armaments include the Pinion Axe, Beam Rifle, Gatling Gun, and 5-tube Missile Launchers ×2, among other accessories, allowing for cool combat poses. It also comes with a dedicated display stand to recreate flying poses and concentric circular flight effect parts for its head.
