Good Smile Company’s mecha-focused MECHA SMILE brand has announced the latest release in its THE GATTAI line of finished combining robot toys: DX GOLD LIOS from the original robot anime "Beast King Warlord Dandivine." The figure is scheduled for release in December 2026.

The mysterious lion-type mecha GOLD LIOS made its sudden debut in the anime’s third episode. When Dandivine was pushed into a corner during a battle with an Aposdoll, GOLD LIOS charged into the fight, transformed into its robot form, and finished the enemy with a single strike. Piloted by the mysterious transfer student Suruga Uekara, the machine differs from Dandivine’s unmanned Divine Beasts and can transform into a robot entirely on its own. Although it already boasts formidable performance, Suruga’s lack of experience and excessive confidence prevent him from drawing out its full combat potential.

THE GATTAI GOLD LIOS was designed and modeled by the Korean design team GOD BRAVE STUDIO. Standing approximately 24cm tall, the figure faithfully captures the mecha’s heavily armored silhouette from the anime and fully transforms from DIVINEBEAST MODE to FIGHTER MODE without the use of replacement parts. Extensive articulation throughout the body allows for agile, feline-inspired running and leaping poses in DIVINEBEAST MODE, along with powerful punches, kicks, and other fighting stances in FIGHTER MODE.

The claws on both forearms feature deployment mechanisms, while the blades mounted on its back can be removed to create an even wider variety of battle scenes. GOLD LIOS also includes a combination mechanism compatible with the separately sold THE GATTAI DX DANDIVINE, allowing the two robots to merge into a powered-up form!
