Christopher Nolan and Hans Zimmer forged a frequent and close long-term collaboration starting with "Batman Begins." However, by "Tenet," Zimmer began missing opportunities to score Nolan's projects due to scheduling conflicts. It now appears this trend will continue, as Nolan's next film, an epic adaptation of the Greek poem "The Odyssey," reportedly will not see Zimmer's return.

According to foreign outlet World of Reel, Swedish composer Ludwig Göransson (pictured left), who previously collaborated with Nolan on "Oppenheimer" and "Tenet," is set to continue his work on "The Odyssey." Earlier this year, Göransson earned his second Oscar for Best Original Score for "Oppenheimer," a win that will undoubtedly solidify his working relationship with Nolan.
This isn't the first time Nolan has changed his go-to composer. Before Zimmer, David Julyan was Nolan's frequent collaborator, scoring his debut film "Following," "Memento," and "Insomnia." "The Prestige" marked their last collaboration, and they have not reunited since.
