Fujio Akatsuka's hilarious manga series "Osomatsu-kun" has been adapted into a TV anime three times, most famously as "Osomatsu-san" (おそ松さん). It's a household name in Japan, and the iconic sextuplet setup is always a riot.
The official announcement for a fourth season dropped last June, and today (January 6) we finally got the solid release date: July this year! The original voice cast is set to return, and they even dropped a teaser trailer for the premiere.

"Osomatsu-san" is the fourth TV anime adaptation of the series. Since its first season aired in 2015, the Matsuno sextuplets have been voiced by an all-star lineup of popular male voice actors: Takahiro Sakurai, Yuichi Nakamura, Hiroshi Kamiya, Jun Fukuyama, Daisuke Ono, and Miyu Irino.

Season two hit screens in 2017, followed by season three in 2020. Each season packed 25 episodes of hilarious stories and the sextuplets' utterly absurd antics, always good for a chuckle.
Remember the legendary first episode of season one, "Revival! Osomatsu-kun"? It was infamous for relentlessly parodying over a dozen other Japanese anime, including "Dragon Ball," "Sailor Moon," and "The Prince of Tennis." Due to copyright issues, it was never included in the BD/DVD release and became known as "The Legendary Banned Episode 1."

Fans have been waiting ages for season four, especially since it's been four whole years since season three wrapped up! We're all hyped to see what wild new surprises the official team has in store for us this time!
