Japanese toy company "STAND STONES" (スタンド・ストーンズ, stasto), known for releasing numerous popular gashapon, will launch a new product based on the popular Japanese picture book "Ketchup Man" (ケチャップマン) – the "Ketchup Man Character Figure" gashapon. The suggested retail price is 400 JPY per turn, with an anticipated release in mid-January 2025!
"Ketchup Man" is the debut picture book by emerging Japanese author Noritake Suzuki (鈴木のりたけ), released in 2017. This gashapon series brings to life the characters as depicted in Mr. Suzuki's book, transforming them into adorable mini-figures. The collection includes five types: "Ketchup Man," "His Name is Ketchup Man," "Fries for You, Ketchup Man," "Dr. Tomato," and "Good Work Today, Ketchup Man." Each figure excellently recreates the scenes drawn by Mr. Suzuki, and all types except for the "Good Work Today" version come with a ball chain, making them super cute whether displayed directly or hung on a bag as a charm!
