Kotobukiya, a Japanese model manufacturer, has announced the third product in its "P3" series of pre-painted, assembled model kits. This latest release, "Magatsuki Kunoichi Ver.", is from Kotobukiya's "Frame Arms Girl" model kit line and is scheduled for release in June 2025.

The original design for Frame Arms Girl Magatsuki comes from the "Frame Arms" series, specifically the "NSG-Z0 Magatsuki", a base defense Frame Arms used by the lunar faction. Designed by illustrator ToMo, its distinctive feature is its samurai armor-like additional armor, equipped with the "TENKAI" odachi and "SATUGA" wakizashi weapons. After being bishōjo-fied by illustrator Eiji Komatsu, it inherits this additional armor, odachi, and wakizashi. The base body is designed as a Japanese-style bishōjo with long, straight black hair, and its attire incorporates elements of Japanese Shinto (mythology).

The "P3 Magatsuki Kunoichi Ver." is based on the previously released model kit version. Each part is pre-assembled and then painted with the same colors as the "photographic painted sample" from the official product images. Even the markings on various parts of the body are reproduced using transfer printing, allowing players to immediately enjoy a quality that feels like it was meticulously crafted by a professional modeler, showcasing Magatsuki's characteristic abdominal curves, wide pelvis, and full hips.

However, this product is a light-equipped version, featuring only the base body and accessories, and does not include the various armor parts from the original kit. Accessories include three pre-painted interchangeable face parts, multiple PVC hand parts, and two sets of weapons—an "odachi" and a "wakizashi"—that can be drawn from their sheaths, allowing for dynamic posing with the base body's flexible articulation.
