Megami Device "Koubu Tsukuyomi Regalia" Features Series' Largest Bust Parts, Giant Scythe Transforms into a Puppet!

Kotobukiya, a Japanese model manufacturer, has announced that the latest product in their popular 'Megami Device' series of mecha girl plastic models, "Koubu Tsukuyomi Regalia," is scheduled for release in June 2025.

The prototype for this product is based on the three deities born from Izanagi-no-Mikoto cleansing the defilement of Yomi-no-Kuni in Japanese mythology's 'Three Noble Children': the sun goddess "Amaterasu," the god of the seas "Susanoo-no-Mikoto," and the moon god "Tsukuyomi." This is a necromancer-type Megami Device utilizing the Koubu frame. Its massive main weapon, the "Yasakani no Magatama Scythe," generates high-frequency waves for powerful cutting force. Furthermore, the scythe can be combined with external parts to form a humanoid support machine called a "Puppet." Through the book-shaped device "Manyo Tablet," which contains vast amounts of data, the Puppet can be controlled to fight with weapons, and can even hack into and control incapacitated enemy or allied units.

"Koubu Tsukuyomi Regalia" is based on the Koubu frame and incorporates numerous new parts to recreate the design by illustrator Nidy-2D-. The skin molding color uses the purest [Color C]. The hair, various armor parts, and weapons are all newly sculpted to Tsukuyomi's exclusive design. The bust parts are the largest in the series' history, allowing for dynamic posing of the most voluptuous body in the Koubu series thanks to its flexible joint design. Three pre-painted face parts—"Chanting Face," "Mischievous Smile," and "Crying Eyes"—further showcase Tsukuyomi's distinctive character charm.

By attaching various external armor and weapon parts, Tsukuyomi Regalia's armed mode can be assembled. It blends distinct necromancer (lich) elements with a traditional Japanese attire base. The back connects to one of the three divine artifacts, the "Magatama," via a support arm. The face can be swapped with a skull-type mask. The massive "Yasakani no Magatama Scythe" features intricate skull and blade detailing, and faithfully recreates the transformation and combination mechanism to form the "Puppet." In its Puppet form, the limbs also feature simple movable joints for posing.
