Hong Kong toy company Hot Toys yesterday (14th) announced the new "Rain Carradine" 1/6th scale collectible figure from Alien: Romulus, following the "Scorched Xenomorph"! It is expected to ship from Q1 to Q2 2026, with a suggested retail price of HKD 1,690.
The latest installment in the Alien series, Alien: Romulus (2024), is set in 2142, between Alien and Aliens, twenty years after Ripley and her crew traveled to planet "LV-426" (2122). The story follows the protagonist Rain, who, along with her android brother Andy and a team led by her old acquaintance Tyler, ventures to the abandoned Romulus space station. Their original intention was merely to steal highly regulated equipment located within, but they unexpectedly encounter the universe's most deadly apex predator...
This figure stands approximately 26 cm tall and features 28 points of articulation, faithfully recreating Rain's petite physique as she delves into the perilous Romulus space station. The head sculpt meticulously captures actress Cailee Spaeny's facial contours, with delicate rendering of skin tone and eyes. Her short brown hair is sculpted, and the editor personally believes that from a 45° side angle, it truly captures Cailee Spaeny's essence, with the addition of an articulated eye mechanism for added expressiveness. The costume includes a grey-green short-sleeved top with the infamous Weyland Corporation LOGO, as well as grey-black trousers and red-and-white sneakers.
Accessories include the reset device necklace worn by the figure, an open reset device, a brain chip, and a meticulously sculpted F44AA pulse rifle with a folding stock. Additionally, it comes with an articulated "Facehugger" whose tail can be wrapped around objects, and Xenomorph remains. The display base is also designed with a space station theme.
▼ However, the expression this time seems overly calm when facing the Xenomorph.
