LEGO "10350 Tudor Corner" & GWP "40757 Corner Newsstand" Unboxing Report - Rich Street View Worldview Easter Eggs & Classic Architectural Features Infused~!

Are you also deeply captivated by the Modular Buildings launched by LEGO, affectionately known as "Street View" among Taiwanese toy enthusiasts? The allure of Modular Buildings includes their combinable common specifications, beautiful exterior designs, ingenious architectural features, exquisite interiors, and small Easter eggs that connect them to other sets. Although only one set is released each year, many classic masterpieces have accumulated.

This time, the LEGO Icons series' "10350 Tudor Corner" is a set that encompasses all the aforementioned characteristics. Today, let's delve into the charm of this LEGO creation. If you've received a red envelope or year-end bonus and your pockets feel full, and you're looking to buy a LEGO set to enjoy during the New Year, then this latest 2025 Modular Building is absolutely a top-tier choice!

▼ First, here's the front of the packaging, featuring the "Tudor Corner" building as the main subject, set against a dark blue gradient background. In the upper left corner, you can see the Modular Buildings Collections LOGO and the product name TUDOR CORNER presented in an elegant font.

▼ The back shows a schematic diagram of the Tudor Corner's positioning as a "corner building" within the Modular Building series. On its other two sides are the "10326 Natural History Museum" and the "10312 Jazz Club." Additionally, there are details on the building's layered structure, close-ups of interior details, and specifications.

▼ The three-story building stands approximately 31 cm tall once assembled.

▼ The top of the box also features an overview of this set's minifigures.

▼ Let's quickly unbox and see the contents! The Tudor Corner has a part count of 3266, including 20 numbered bags of parts, one unnumbered bag of baseplate parts, and a standard Modular Building 32 × 32 baseplate.

▼ Although the part bags are plastic, the instruction manual uses new paper packaging (what an interesting combination!).

▼ The model designer for this Tudor Corner is François Zapf (pictured left below). The instruction manual also provides a general introduction to the history and architectural characteristics of Tudor-style houses.

▼ So, let's start building!

During the assembly process, the editor discovered many "beautiful details that become hidden once built." However, due to their abundance, the editor has decided to present them one by one to all toy enthusiasts when examining each floor's structure in detail. First, let's take a look at its beautiful appearance once completed!

▼ Let's admire it from every angle!

Now then, let's begin from the first floor and slowly appreciate the charm of the Tudor Corner! First up is the restaurant, the Old Guarded Inn, featuring eye-catching green exterior walls. Everything from the wooden door, the printed sign and menu, the brickwork of the exterior walls, to the striking red awning is absolutely beautiful. It's worth noting that this Old Guarded Inn is clearly a homage to the "6067 Guarded Inn" released in 1986 as part of the LEGO Castle series.

▼ 6067 Guarded Inn.

▼ A very European-style outdoor two-person seating area.

▼ The texture at the bottom of the exterior wall is achieved using green wooden crates.

▼ The Tudor-style street corner features many building techniques like this that add highlights to the overall design. This demonstrates designer François Zapf's extensive research into Tudor-era architectural styles and his skill in bringing them to life. The rich ingenuity makes this building stand out even more in the streetscape.

▼ Building the Old Guarded Inn was truly enjoyable!

▼ This cool angle! It was incredibly satisfying when assembled.

▼ The gray stone staircase next to the Old Guarded Inn, which leads to the second floor, can be removed. Inside is a restroom for restaurant guests to freshen up.

▼ It can be easily removed using the hole in the middle of the staircase.

▼ The view when the restaurant's back door and restroom door are open.

▼ This must be the restaurant's back door~ Besides the large trash can, it feels like adding a few trash bags would make it even more realistic.

In addition to the Old Guarded Inn, the first floor also houses Haberdashery, a men's outfitter selling hats, various fabrics, and sewing notions. The sign is also a printed piece, which is absolutely fantastic~! In the LEGO Modular Buildings world, the tailor from "10312 Jazz Club" comes to Haberdashery to purchase materials.

The word "Haberdashery" also has different meanings in the UK and the US. In the UK, it refers to sewing-related items and notions, while in the US, it's considered a men's hat and clothing store. Both of these interpretations are satisfied at the Tudor-style corner's Haberdashery.

▼ Moving up to the second floor, the exterior wall is also full of intricate details. These include balcony railings made with numerous gold robot parts, a large clock, different styles of windows, flowers, and more.

▼ This window building technique is definitely worth learning!

▼ Fresh flowers can be seen on both the first and second floors. These flowers are, by design, from the Modular Buildings classic, "10255 Assembly Square."

▼ The second floor also features this charming bay window.

▼ The third floor showcases classic Tudor architectural features: a pitched roof, a gable, and a black-and-white exterior wall. Several astonishing building techniques are employed here to render this facade beautifully and neatly.

▼ A clever combination of window frame parts and basic bricks.

▼ The presentation of unique angles and the ingenious use of specialized parts.

▼ On the other side, you can open the door and step out onto a small balcony for some fresh air.

▼ A ventilating skylight is installed on the top floor.

Having admired the exterior, let's now step inside the building! The Old Guarded Inn on the first floor boasts a magnificent grand counter, a seating area, and a kitchen, while the Haberdashery's shop space is also absolutely superb.

▼ The counter is packed with details and accessories; placing minifigures there instantly brings it to life. This counter shares a history as long as the old building itself, approximately five hundred years, making it quite grand!

▼ One of my personal favorite elements: the coffee machine assembled with just a few parts.

▼ The door on the right in the image below leads to the restroom under the stairs.

▼ Although the kitchen space is not large, the stove, cabinets, sink, etc., are all very well-presented. It's separated from the Haberdashery by an easily removable wall, and the range hood element is quite important, greatly enhancing the realistic atmosphere.

▼ Inside the Haberdashery, you can see a rich variety of hats and a large quantity of fabrics in various colors.

▼ The second floor is the clockmaker's workshop. This clockmaker is not only respected in town, but his most classic work is the large clock in the "10224 Town Hall". This place is filled with all kinds of clocks, which are also cherished family heirlooms sent here for repair due to trust in the master's craftsmanship. During the assembly process, the interior of the second floor brings the joy of play to another peak.

▼ The desk lamp is made using special parts, and the entire desktop looks really impressive.

▼ There's a vacuum cleaner under the stairs, but it's a bit difficult to take out and play with after assembly.

▼ Moving up again, the third floor is the attic apartment suite. This tenant not only loves cats but also keeps precious insects. The entire space can be described as very comfortable.

▼ Sitting on the sofa, watching the cats play on the cat tree – how blissful! There's also a pink ball in the corner.

▼ As long as you know the position of the ladder, you won't install the top floor in the wrong direction!

▼ The bookshelf stacking is superb; those books were bought from the "10270 Bookshop". The tenant is set to be someone who likes rainy days, but the reason is that she can stay home and read... so she just doesn't like going out, not that she likes rainy days, right?! (laughs)

▼ Absolutely love these small minifigure-scale furniture pieces.

▼ There's also a balcony for some fresh air; although a bit small, it's really nice!

▼ The Tudor Corner includes a total of eight minifigures, comprising seven characters such as the clockmaker, the Old Guarded Inn restaurant owner & staff, the tenant, the chimney sweep, and a mannequin located in the menswear shop.

▼ This cargo bike, which can carry items and even take cats out, is absolutely fantastic!

This time, we are delighted to also assemble the gift-with-purchase, item number 40757, the Corner Kiosk, which can be obtained by purchasing the "10350 Tudor Corner". Not only do you get a charming newsstand and two minifigures, but the variety of newspapers is also quite satisfying.

▼ Of these four types of newspapers, only the travel-themed newspaper in the bottom right is a sticker; the others are printed parts.

▼ Of course, we have to take a photo with them together~!
