Japanese high-quality statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio's "Real Elite Masterline" series, which combines cutting-edge sculpting and painting techniques with high-end materials, is releasing a new product based on the popular video game "God of War: Ragnarök" – the "Kratos" 1/3 scale collectible statue. It will be available in two versions, Regular and Deluxe, with a suggested retail price of US$1,599 and US$1,899 respectively. The Deluxe version is limited to 400 pieces worldwide and will be available for pre-order on the official website at 06:00 AM GMT on January 16, 2025, with an estimated release date between April and July 2026!
"God of War: Ragnarök" is an action-adventure game developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment (Santa Monica Studio). It is the ninth installment in the God of War series, inheriting the spirit of its predecessor, 2018's "God of War," in terms of gameplay, and continues the story of Kratos and Atreus three years after the previous game.
This Kratos 1/3 scale collectible statue depicts him heroically wielding the Leviathan Axe and Guardian Shield. His iconic bald head and large beard are sculpted with extreme realism, faithfully recreating his in-game appearance. His lean upper body muscles and vibrant red markings are exquisitely reproduced! The costume features a combination of materials such as fabric, velvet, and metal parts to recreate the texture of his in-game armor, pants, and boots. Mimir, with LED light-up eyes, hangs behind him, with ultra-realistic wrinkles and tattoos on his head!
The base is inspired by the Norse lands in the game, with Kratos standing on a recently slain water dragon. The rough, wet skin texture and piercing eyes are so lifelike it's as if it just stopped breathing! Additionally, many natural scenes and creature details are crafted, and splashing water is recreated with translucent materials, adding a stronger sense of dynamism and showcasing the game's rich and captivating world!
The Deluxe version additionally includes an interchangeable head sculpt with an angry expression, along with a dedicated base that can be displayed as a bust when not in use. It also comes with interchangeable hands holding various weapons, including the Stone Wall Shield, Blades of Chaos, a fully upgraded Leviathan Axe, and specially includes the Draupnir Spear, which can be held in the right hand, allowing collectors to freely recreate their favorite looks!
