American toy manufacturer Sideshow Collectibles' Premium Format series has launched a new Marvel Comics-themed product – the "Rogue" 1/4 scale collectible statue. With a suggested retail price of US$745, it is now available for pre-order on the Sideshow official website, with an estimated shipping date between August and November 2025!
"Rogue" first appeared in 1981 in "Avengers Annual" #10 and is one of the key members of the X-Men. Rogue's English name means "thief" because she possesses the superpower to absorb the memories, knowledge, talents, personalities, and physical abilities of anyone she touches. Occasionally, she can also replicate the victim's physical characteristics, but this power is not limitless; prolonged contact can permanently strip the target of their abilities, or even lead to their death.
This Rogue 1/4 scale collectible statue stands approximately 48 cm tall and features her classic 90s X-Men uniform. It depicts Rogue standing atop the wreckage of a Sentinel robot. The sculpture meticulously recreates her lean and graceful physique, with delicate details like her dimples, the texture of her leather suit and belt, and her flowing, highlighted hair all faithfully reproduced! The arm parts can be swapped between a clenched fist pose and a dynamic pose where she is preparing to remove her glove to use her mutant abilities. The glove-removing action exudes a hint of sensuality, and when contrasted with the metallic scratches on the broken Sentinel chest plate on the base, she simultaneously projects an aura of beauty and power!
