Japanese toy company FREEing (株式会社 FREEing) has once again released a new product under its large-scale character figure "B-style" series, featuring the anime "To Love-Ru Darkness" theme – the "Golden Darkness Bunny Ver." 1/6 scale pre-painted figure. The suggested retail price is 24,200 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in June 2025!
"To Love-Ru Darkness" is a sequel to "To Love-Ru," with Saki Hasemi also responsible for the script and Kentaro Yabuki for the artwork. It was serialized in the monthly "Jump Square" from 2010 to 2017. In 2012, XEBEC adapted it into a TV anime. The story continues two weeks after the final episode of the main series, where a girl calling herself "Mea Kurosaki" suddenly appears, attempting to execute the Darkness Project to turn Yami back into a ruthless assassin.
This B-style Golden Darkness Bunny Ver. 1/6 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 24 cm tall. The overall design is largely similar to the 2016 1/4 scale version, but it has been recreated in a smaller size, featuring Yami in a sexy one-piece leotard bunny outfit. The sculpting showcases her slender and beautiful physique. The glossy paint finish gives the leotard a patent leather effect, greatly accentuating the curves from her chest down to her waist under the light. The fishnet stockings covering her voluptuous thighs have slightly larger holes due to the reduced scale. Her flowing hair adds to the overall sense of dynamism. This time, collectors can acquire the bunny girl Yami in a more space-saving form!
