GOOD SMILE COMPANY, a Japanese figure manufacturer, has announced the latest additions to its "Nendoroid" series of Q-version articulated figures: "Akira" and "Rin" from the popular action game "Zenless Zone Zero," slated for release in September 2025.
In the game, players take on the roles of the sibling protagonists, "Akira" and "Rin," who are experts in handling Hollows and are known as the legendary "Phaeton" Stringers. They typically run a video rental store called "Random Play" on Sixth Street in New Eridu, supplementing their income and expanding their network. Upon receiving a Stringer commission, they can utilize the Hollow Deep Dive System to enter intricate Hollows, manipulating the Bangboo "Eis" to precisely calculate routes for their clients.
The "Nendoroid Akira" and "Nendoroid Rin" figures transform the siblings into adorable Q-version forms, standing approximately 10 cm tall. Their hairstyles and full outfits are meticulously recreated with exquisite sculpting. From the brother's zippered jacket to the sister's "Qicai Zi" top, rich paintwork and pattern printing are used to thoroughly reproduce every detailed color. The figures also come with various interchangeable hand and leg parts, three different face plates, and a wealth of accessories, allowing for a multitude of poses and scenarios.
"Nendoroid Akira"'s accessories include a smiling face, a gentle face, a listless face, as well as a delivery box, a smartphone, a receipt, and a video tape. "Nendoroid Rin" comes with a smiling face, a winking face, a scornful face, along with a video tape, car keys, a delivery paper bag, and a game console. Almost every accessory can be held by the characters using their sculpted hand parts.
