Kaiyodo, the Japanese model manufacturer, has announced the latest product from its popular action figure series "Revoltech": "Yuma Tsukumo & Astral" from "Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL", scheduled for release in March 2025.
The protagonist of "Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL", Yuma Tsukumo, is a boy with exceptionally strong mental fortitude who aims to become the AR Monster Card Duel champion. One day, the "Emperor's Key" amulet left by his missing parents opened a mysterious door, leading Yuma to encounter the enigmatic lifeform "Astral". However, Astral's memories were shattered into 100 "Number Monsters" cards scattered across various locations due to the impact, with only one, "No.39 Utopia", remaining in Yuma's hands. To retrieve the remaining 99 cards and restore Astral's memories, the two embark on a journey together, creating a new dueling legend.
The "Revoltech Yuma Tsukumo & Astral" product includes the two protagonists, whose destinies are intertwined, sculpted as articulated figures with a total height of approximately 15 cm. Astral's luminous body is recreated using transparent materials and pearlescent paint. The more complex design of Yuma faithfully reproduces his spiky "shrimp" hairstyle, the "D-Gazer" essential for AR Duels, and the "Duel Disk" equipped on his left arm, among other details.
Both figures' bodies, utilizing flexible Revoltech joint parts throughout, allow for dynamic and energetic poses. The abundant accessories include interchangeable sculpted arms/hands, three facial expressions for Yuma, monster cards, and more, enabling the recreation of their passionate dueling scenes. Furthermore, pre-ordering this product through Kaiyodo's direct channels will grant exclusive pre-order bonuses: "Astral's Roaring Face" and the "Shining Draw" magic card effect.
