Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company HOBBY Division is set to release its latest product, "HG Choryujin," from the popular robot anime "Brave King GaoGaiGar" on January 25, 2025. On the eve of its release, the official channels have unveiled new information, including the product's box art design and physical sample images.

Choryujin is the combined form achieved through "Symmetrical Docking" when the twin Brave Robots, HyoRyu and EnRyu, belonging to the "GGG Mobile Unit," reach a mental synchronization rate of over 90%. It possesses performance comparable to GaoGaiGar and integrates the personalities and abilities of both HyoRyu and EnRyu. It can simultaneously fire high-temperature and low-temperature energy projectiles from the cannons mounted on its twin arms and both sides of its waist. Furthermore, it can equip the specialized Megaton Tool "Eraser Head" to neutralize energy generated by explosions or force fields, used for disaster relief or assisting GaoGaiGar in combat.

"HG Choryujin" is constructed using multi-color molded parts, clear parts, and plastic stickers, allowing for the assembly of two Brave Robots, HyoRyu and EnRyu, featuring rich colors and detailed sculpting. Through transformation mechanisms and by replacing specialized parts, it can recreate the "System Change" from crane/fire truck forms into robot forms, as well as the "Choryujin" combined form of the two machines!

In their crane/fire truck forms, both machines boast excellent vehicle styling. Plastic stickers are used to complement colors not present in the parts themselves as much as possible, and clear parts recreate the warning lights on the vehicle fronts. HyoRyu's crane arm and EnRyu's ladder can both extend and retract via sliding mechanisms.

After transforming into robot forms, both machines include multiple sculpted hand parts and two interchangeable facial expressions: normal face/roaring face. In addition to their individual armaments – Freezing Rifle, Freezing Pistol, Melting Rifle, Melting Pistol, and Mirror Shield – both machines' chest armor also features an unfolding mechanism, allowing for the recreation of their special moves "Chest Freeze" and "Chest Fire" poses.

After combining into Choryujin, the overall sculpt and size are even more impressive. It includes specialized interchangeable parts that maximize articulation, allowing for dynamic battle poses closer to its appearance in the show. The crane arm and ladder components can be equipped on the twin arms for use as bludgeons, or deployed from the waist to recreate shooting mode. Two types of hand parts are included: weapon-holding hands and clenched fists.
