The assembly model "MODEROID" series, launched by the Japanese brand MECHA SMILE, has announced its latest limited-edition product from "Getter Robo Armageddon," the "Shin Getter 1 Getter Ray Clear Color Ver.", with pre-orders scheduled to open on April 1, 2025, at 12:00 PM (JST) on the Good Smile Company Online Shop. This product will also be available for early purchase at physical events such as "Mecha Smile Impact 2025 WINTER in Taiwan" and "Mecha Smile Impact 2025 WINTER in Korea." Further details about these events will be announced at a later date.
This kit is based on the RIOBOT version released by Sentinel in 2018, recreating the powerful and voluminous design by T-REX and Yoichi Sakamoto (Chemical Attack) into an approximately 16 cm tall assembly model. It features flexible articulation in the neck, chest, waist, limbs, and wing bases, allowing it to wield the massive Getter Tomahawk. Through interchangeable parts, it can also reproduce forms such as the Getter Scythe, Getter Lancer, and short axe, and can even be posed performing its special move, the "Getter Beam."
This limited edition also uses pre-painted parts to reproduce the head's facial features. The entire frame and joint parts have been replaced with metallic green, and the outer armor with clear green molded color, creating a unique appearance that depicts Shin Getter 1 completely bathed in powerful Getter Rays, even merging with them.
