The assembly model series "MODEROID", launched by the Japanese brand MECHA SMILE, has announced its latest limited edition product from "Madō King Granzort", the "Super Granzort EX Color Ver." Pre-orders are scheduled to open on April 1, 2025, at 20:00 JST at the Good Smile Company Online Shop. This product will also be available for early sale at physical events such as "Mecha Smile Impact 2025 WINTER in Taiwan" and "Mecha Smile Impact 2025 WINTER in Korea". Further event details will be announced at a later date.
This product is a modified version of the regular edition "MODEROID Super Granzort" kit released in 2022. The original yellow molded parts have been changed to luxurious gold-plated parts, while the white, black, and red molded colors have been changed to milky white clear, clear black, and metallic red respectively, creating a MODEROID original color scheme with a unique texture.
Aside from the colors, the design is identical to the regular edition. It features flexible articulation throughout the body and includes the transformation mechanism from Face Mode to Battle Mode. The Granzort Crown comes with two different sized parts: one optimized for Face Mode and one for Battle Mode, allowing for optimal proportions to be maintained through swapping. Accessories include the impressive main weapon, the "Super Flame Emperor Sword", as well as flame effects to recreate the sword engulfed in fire, expressive hand parts for casting gestures, and a magic circle-themed display base.
