Japanese toy company HMA (株式会社エイチエムエー) is releasing a new product based on the popular anime "Haikyuu!!" – the "Haikyuu!! Mini Uniform Photo Case Part 1" gashapon. The suggested retail price is 400 Japanese Yen per turn, and it is expected to be released in late January 2025!
"Haikyuu!!" is a volleyball-themed anime series originally created by Japanese manga artist Haruichi Furudate and adapted by Japanese animation studio Production I.G. The story follows the protagonist Shoyo Hinata, who, despite his short stature, possesses an immense passion for volleyball. After joining the Karasuno High School volleyball team, once a powerhouse, he and his teammates overcome difficulties and challenge one strong school after another.
This "Haikyuu!! Mini Uniform Photo Case Part 1" gashapon features the popular character uniforms from three schools in the series – Karasuno, Nekoma, and Aoba Johsai – with two characters from each school. These photo cases are approximately 7 cm in size and are available in six styles: Shoyo Hinata, Tobio Kageyama, Kenma Kozume, Tetsuro Kuroo, Toru Oikawa, and Hajime Iwaizumi. The printing faithfully reproduces the uniform designs, players' back numbers, and school names. The ball chain includes a small charm with the school emblem. The front window design comes with a printed photo sticker of the corresponding character, and toy collectors can also remove the sticker and replace it with their own photos to carry with them!
