Japanese brand GOODSMILE COMPANY's "Nendoroid" series, which features over a thousand characters, has announced a new product based on the popular anime and manga "Ao no Hako (Blue Box)" — the "Chinatsu Kano" action figure. The suggested retail price is 6,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in July 2025!
"Ao no Hako (Blue Box)" is a manga series by Koji Miura that began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in 2021. In 2024, it was adapted into a TV anime by Telecom Animation Film. It tells the story of Taiki Inomata, a middle school student at the prestigious sports academy Eimei Academy, who has a long-standing crush on Chinatsu Kano, a basketball club senior. Due to family circumstances, Chinatsu moves in with Taiki, leading to a story that intertwines dreams and romance!
This Nendoroid Chinatsu Kano stands approximately 10 cm tall. It recreates Chinatsu-senpai's look from the series, where she always wears a yellow hoodie paired with blue athletic shorts during morning practice, transforming it into an adorable Nendoroid design. The Q-version proportions faithfully reproduce the details of her clothes and hair. Three interchangeable face plates are included: a smiling face, a serious sweating face for sports, and an embarrassed face. Accessories include a basketball, a sports drink, and a smartphone, allowing you to display Chinatsu-senpai in various cute poses!
Pre-orders placed on the GOODSMILE COMPANY official website will also include a special round base featuring the "Ao no Hako (Blue Box)" logo!
