The 'MODEROID' model kit series, launched by Japan's MECHA SMILE brand, has announced its latest product, "Bang Bravern," from the anime "Brave Bang Bravern," slated for release in September 2025.
Bang Bravern is the combined form of the robot protagonist "Bravern" and the support mecha "Bang Dragon," secretly created by a super-dimensional 3D printer. Its overall capabilities are significantly enhanced compared to their individual combat forms. It can wield its dedicated weapon, the "Bang Twin Lance," to launch agile attacks, and unleash powerful special moves such as "Brave Arc Tornado" and "Brave One-Sword Style Ultimate Art: Brave Complete Annihilation Slash."
The "MODEROID Bang Bravern" is based on the previously released Bravern main body, with the addition of the newly designed support mecha "Bang Dragon." The kit consists of multi-color molded parts, clear parts, pre-painted parts, and stickers, faithfully reproducing the mechanical design and colors of Bravern and Bang Dragon from the anime. The box art is specially drawn by Masami Obari, who served as the anime director and Bravern's mechanical designer.
The Bravern main body is essentially the same as the previously sold product. Once assembled, it stands approximately 17 cm tall, with flexible articulation throughout its body, allowing for dynamic poses from the show. The head can be swapped with four different expression parts: normal face, shouting face, smiling face, and masked face. The body can be replaced with dedicated parts to recreate its flight form, "Brave Lightning." Accessories include the Bang Sword, Burn Blade Blaze Up effect parts, Bang Axe, and interchangeable hand parts, enabling the recreation of cool battle stances.
The newly designed Bang Dragon measures approximately 22 cm in length when completed. Landing gear parts can be attached to its underside for standalone display. The nose features interchangeable parts: a "proportion-focused" part suitable for standalone display and a "fully transformable" part suitable for combination. By swapping some parts, it can combine with Bravern to form the 20 cm tall "Bang Bravern," which can then be posed with the new weapon, the "Bang Twin Lance."
