Japanese brand GOODSMILE COMPANY's "Nendoroid" series, which features over a thousand characters, is releasing a new product based on the popular anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" — the "Frieren Winter Outfit Ver." action figure. The suggested retail price is 6,500 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in August 2025!
"Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" tells the story of Frieren, an elf protagonist with an incredibly long lifespan. In the past, she and the hero Himmel's party defeated the Demon King. However, it was only after Himmel's death that she gradually came to understand the brevity and brilliance of human life. To better comprehend human emotions, Frieren embarks on a journey of self-discovery with the disciples of two of her former comrades.
This Nendoroid Frieren Winter Outfit Ver. stands approximately 10 cm tall. Based on the previously released standard version, Frieren's winter outfit from her journey to the Northern Countries has been sculpted into Nendoroid's adorable proportions, faithfully recreating the details of her coat and scarf. Accessories include a suitcase, and it comes with three interchangeable face plates different from the standard version: a confident smiling face, a warm face for when she's cozying up in a hut, and a flying kiss face. The flying kiss face can even be combined with a heart accessory to recreate that irresistible flying kiss scene from episode 13 of the anime that Himmel couldn't resist!
Pre-ordering from the GOODSMILE official store this time will also include a speech bubble that reads "___ years after the death of Hero Himmel," which can be combined with previous Frieren-themed products to create various interesting scenes. Isn't that absolutely amazing?!
