SQUARE ENIX MASTERLINE FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH Zack Fair 1/4 Scale Statue Draws the Buster Sword for Battle

SQUARE ENIX and renowned statue maker Prime 1 Studio have teamed up for the "SQUARE ENIX MASTERLINE", a collection of premium polystone statues based on SQUARE ENIX properties. The line’s latest release from "FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH" is the Zack Fair 1/4 Scale Statue, originally scheduled for release in May 2026. It comes in both a standard edition and a more elaborate DX edition packed with additional display options.

Good to meet you!
Although the late Zack Fair had only a limited role in the original "FINAL FANTASY VII," he was a key figure behind many of the game’s greatest mysteries. His full story was later explored in 2007’s "CRISIS CORE –FINAL FANTASY VII–." Cheerful and energetic, Zack joined the Shinra Electric Power Company and enlisted in SOLDIER after being inspired by the legendary hero Sephiroth. He quickly rose through the ranks to become a SOLDIER 1st Class and befriended Cloud Strife, who was still serving as an ordinary Shinra trooper. During the Nibelheim Incident, the two were defeated by Sephiroth and subsequently captured by Professor Hojo for human experimentation. Five years later, Zack finally escaped with the mentally shattered Cloud, only to be overwhelmed and killed by a massive Shinra force. Before dying, he entrusted Cloud with the Buster Sword and his dreams. Cloud’s fractured memories then formed the basis of his cold, former SOLDIER 1st Class persona at the beginning of the story.

The Zack Fair 1/4 Scale Statue stands approximately 63 cm tall, capturing Zack in a commanding mid-level stance with the massive Buster Sword ready for both attack and defense. Based on the game’s 3D model, the sculpt faithfully reproduces his clear-eyed expression, subtle smile, scar on his right cheek, and the contrasting textures of fabric, leather, and metal. Realistic paintwork brings out his Mako-infused green eyes, metallic finishes, weathering, and traces of rust.

The standard edition includes five colors of Materia representing Magic, Support, Command, Summon, and Complete types. Collectors can select any two and insert them into the Buster Sword’s Materia slots. The deluxe DX edition adds interchangeable arms and hands in different poses, allowing Zack to wield the sword with both hands, reach for it behind his back, and assume several other Buster Sword poses.
