Japanese company SQUARE ENIX, in collaboration with renowned statue brand Prime 1 Studio, has announced the latest product from their Polystone statue collection "SQUARE ENIX MASTERLINE" series, based on their IPs: the "Sephiroth 1/4 Scale Statue" from "FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH," slated for release in January 2026. This product will be simultaneously launched in a standard edition and a more luxurious DX edition with additional accessories.
The immensely popular and charismatic antagonist, Sephiroth, was once the strongest member of the Shinra Private Elite Force "SOLDIER," holding the highest rank of "1st Class." He possessed strong elite qualities, a calm, brave, and responsible personality, and was very caring towards his subordinates, earning him the admiration of many. However, during the "Nibelheim Incident" five years before the main story, Sephiroth learned about his origins, the Ancients, meteorites, and vast knowledge of the planet from the Lifestream. He then secretly began preparing to cast the ultimate destructive magic, "Meteor," to strike the planet, intending to merge with the overflowing Lifestream during the planet's self-restoration and become a "god-like" entity.
The "Sephiroth 1/4 Scale Statue" is crafted in a powerful size, standing approximately 68 cm tall, depicting the "One-Winged Angel" pose with his jet-black wing spread and holding his Masamune katana. Based on the 3D model used in the game, it meticulously captures Sephiroth's flowing silver hair, his sinister, murderous smile, the fabric texture and wrinkles of his attire, and applies realistic color painting to restore details such as the metallic luster and blade patterns of his sword.
The standard edition features Sephiroth in his "One-Winged Angel" pose with his wing spread, while the more luxurious DX edition includes an additional interchangeable upper body part without the wing, allowing for the recreation of Sephiroth's past cool appearance as a revered "1st Class" elite.
