The epic collaboration between Studio khara (Evangelion) and Sunrise (Mobile Suit Gundam), the highly anticipated 2025 anime series Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, has been generating massive buzz since its announcement. A theatrical compilation of its early episodes, titled Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-, has already proven to be a box office hit.
Today (Feb. 2), during a special stage event in Tokyo, producers dropped a fresh wave of info, revealing new voice cast members and slick new mobile suit designs. A broadcast date for the series, however, remains under wraps.
First up is the voice cast, starting with the members of Kaneban Co., Ltd., a crew of scrap dealers that protagonist Machiu encounters:

▼ Komori Harcourt (CV: Akane Fujita)
An Ensign in the Zeon forces and an elite graduate of the military academy.
On the mecha front, in addition to the red Gundam seen in the trailer, designs for a white Gundam, the classic Zaku, and Char's custom Zaku have all been officially revealed.
▼ Red Gundam gMS-α
Suddenly appeared in Sector 6 in U.C. 0085 and crashed the "Battle Gang Duels."
▼ White Gundam RX-78-02
A new mobile suit from the Earth Federation Forces.
▼ Zaku MS-06
The standard mass-produced mobile suit of the Principality of Zeon.
▼ Zaku MS-06S

Even though the theatrical release is just a preview cut of the first few TV episodes, and with the series premiere date still unannounced, it has already drawn massive crowds. This dream-team collaboration between khara and Sunrise is clearly a huge deal for fans.
What do you think of the new character and mecha designs? We'll have to wait for an official broadcast date to see what this brand-new take on the Universal Century has in store for Gundam fans.
