The popular mecha girl-themed plastic model series "Megami Device", released by Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya, recently showcased several new prototypes at its new product exhibition, "KOTOBUKIYA COLLECTION 2025".

The "PUNI☆MOFU" series, with character designs by Japanese illustrator BLADE, exhibited recolored versions of Neko-chan (Cat) and Usagi-chan (Rabbit), namely "Kuro Neko (Black Cat)" and "Yuki Usagi (Snow Rabbit)", which utilize the short-stature "Machineca Block2-S" body. Also displayed were the third and fourth characters, "Ōkami (Wolf)" and "Fukurō (Owl)", built on the standard-height "Machineca Block2-M" body, featuring a fuller figure and an "older sister" image, distinct from the first two releases.

The brand-new themed series "Desire Maiden", also utilizing the "Machineca Block2" body, showcased in-development prototypes for two characters: "Striker" and "Medic". For this series, Amama, who handles eye and face designs for the "Megami Device" series, is responsible for the character body designs, while Tasuku, from the "Megami Device BUSTER DOLL" series, is again in charge of the mechanical designs.

Furthermore, the latest collaboration between Megami Device and "Busou Shinki", "Devil-Type Strafe bis", also had its newest prototype on display. This unit is an enhanced specification of Devil-Type Strafe, improved with the latest modern technology while maximally paying homage to the original product, featuring newly sculpted parts for its hammer, shoulder shield, eye patch, and other armaments.
