Happy New Year, toy enthusiasts! Today (the 3rd) marks the first day back to work, and I know you all definitely need something to soothe your weary souls. So, let's take a look at the new creations unveiled by the Danish LEGO toy company over the past few days! First up is the LEGO Icons Series set number 10362, the "French Café"! It is scheduled for release on March 1, 2025, with a suggested retail price of US$79.99, and a price of NT$2,899 at Taiwan's LEGO Certified Stores.
This set comprises 1101 pieces, and once assembled, it forms a Café Fleur French Café architectural model, approximately 30 cm long, specifically designed for bookshelf decoration. From the official description and its depth of only 6 cm, it's clear that this French Café is a product geared more towards display than play. From the elegant exterior design and sophisticated color scheme of the building itself, the streetlights, the flowers decorating the storefront, and the medium-sized plants, to the outdoor seating area—considered one of the essences of European cafes—everything is exquisitely beautiful. Even the sidewalk at the base is sculpted to resemble an uneven cobblestone path, showcasing brilliant building techniques throughout.
▼ A view from the side. It's no wonder the official description refers to this French Café as a bookshelf decoration building kit.

Beyond its exquisite exterior design, the "10362 French Café" boasts many small highlights. These include transparent printed elements used for windows and glass doors, and a black clip-on menu printed element for Café Fleur. Also noteworthy is the Café Fleur sign, which complements the building's color scheme, featuring a skin-tone main color accented with a green border. Finally, another point worth mentioning is the "Restaurants of the World" text on the packaging, suggesting this could be a series. We look forward to future releases.
