BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has announced the latest product from its "S.H.MonsterArts" series, which combines exquisite monster sculpting with outstanding articulation technology. The new item, "Stardust Dragon" from the "Yu-Gi-Oh!" series, is scheduled for release in July 2025.
Gathering wishes will become a shining new star, and illuminate the path! Synchro Summon! Take flight, Stardust Dragon!
The ace monster card of Yusei Fudo, the protagonist of "Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's," the Wind-attribute Dragon-Type Synchro Monster "Stardust Dragon" is a silver-white giant dragon whose entire body seems to shimmer with starlight. In addition to its excellent base stats of 2500 ATK and 2000 DEF, when the condition "1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters" is met, if an opponent activates a Spell, Trap, or Monster Card with a destructive effect, Stardust Dragon can Tribute itself to negate that card's effect and destroy it instead. This made it quite powerful during the early "Synchro" era.
The "S.H.MonsterArts Stardust Dragon" meticulously recreates the detailed sculpt and body proportions based on design documents, reproduced at an impressive length of 53 cm. Its entire body utilizes various pearl and metallic paint applications to achieve a shimmering, starlight-like luster.
It also incorporates the S.H.MonsterArts series' long-cultivated articulation technology, featuring seamless and flexible movable joints in the neck, torso, limbs, and wings, allowing for highly dynamic flying, attacking, and roaring poses.
Accessories include a dedicated display stand that supports the body and wings, allowing for stable exhibition in various poses. Furthermore, it comes with effect parts for Stardust Dragon's signature special move, "Cosmic Flare", which can be attached to a clear stand to recreate the scene of it being fired from its mouth!
