The "Berserk Model Kit Special Edition," specially sold in Japan, following the "Guts (Berserker Armor) Bust Figure," now features the "Zodd (Berserker Armor) Bust Figure" produced by Japanese model maker MaxFactory, in addition to the manga, to commemorate the 43rd volume of the Berserk manga! The suggested retail price is 9,680 JPY. (※Overseas versions will only sell the figure.)
The battle-crazed Zodd seeks to clash with true powerhouses and revel in the thrill of combat! His century-long campaigns have earned him the legend of "Zodd the Immortal"; after transforming into his Apostle form, his overwhelming power proved too much for Guts and the subsequently arriving Griffith to handle, and this epic battle only concluded when Zodd spotted the Egg of the Perfect World hanging from Griffith.... He has clashed with Guts and the Skull Knight on multiple occasions and is currently one of the executives of the "New Band of the Hawk."
▼Following the passing of original author Kentaro Miura, his team of apprentices, "STUDIO Gaga," took over the artwork, with close friend Kouji Mori supervising the story, restarting the Berserk serialization.
The "Zodd (Berserker Armor) Bust Figure" is supervised by "STUDIO Gaga," measures approximately 14.5 cm tall, and thoroughly recreates his beastly appearance in Apostle form. It meticulously reproduces the black fur covering his entire body and the massive curved horns atop his head; the smoke rising from his body is rendered with clear parts, combined with the cracked stone wall and colossal claws, conveying a powerful sense of presence!
▼An exquisitely sculpted piece with even more volume than the "Guts (Berserker Armor) Bust Figure" from the same series!
