The new "X-Men" film has recently seen a flurry of potential casting rumors, suggesting Marvel Studios is either actively casting or deep in discussions about suitable candidates. According to recent revelations from film journalist Jeff Sneider on his YouTube show "The Hot Mic," Margaret Qualley, who has garnered significant attention for her roles in recent films like "The Substance" and "Kinds of Kindness," is reportedly among the talents Marvel is targeting.

Sneider stated that Qualley, alongside other rising stars such as Sydney Sweeney and Daisy Edgar-Jones, is an actress Marvel is eager to recruit. Specifically, Marvel is reportedly hoping Qualley will join the "X-Men" cast as the new Rogue.

Furthermore, Sneider also mentioned on the show that although the main antagonist for the fifth "Avengers" film has reportedly shifted from Kang to Doctor Doom, with the rumored subtitle "Doomsday," Marvel still intends to provide a complete conclusion to Kang's storyline. The current plan, according to reports, involves Doctor Doom defeating Kang, thereby writing Kang out of the narrative.

However, Marvel will not bring back Jonathan Majors to continue in the role. Instead, a new actor will be cast to complete the remaining story. Sneider claimed that Marvel's current target for the new Kang is Tramell Tillman (pictured above), known for his role in the Apple TV+ series "Severance."
