Japanese brand GOODSMILE COMPANY's "Nendoroid" series, which features over a thousand characters, will release a new product based on the classic popular anime "Cardcaptor Sakura" – the "Touya Kinomoto" articulated figure. The suggested retail price is 6,800 JPY, and it is expected to be released in August 2025!
"Cardcaptor Sakura" is an original magical girl series created by the manga group CLAMP and adapted by Japanese animation studio MADHOUSE. Sakura Kinomoto is a lively, cheerful, understanding, and somewhat naive girl who one day accidentally opens a book sealing the Clow Cards, causing them to scatter across the world. To prevent the Clow Cards, which possess free will and immense power, from causing destruction, Sakura becomes a Cardcaptor at the request of the guardian "Cerberus," attempting to retrieve all the Clow Cards.
This time, GOODSMILE has transformed Sakura's older brother, Touya Kinomoto, into a Nendoroid figure approximately 10 cm tall. While maintaining a cute proportion, the figure faithfully recreates his casual bangs and the details of his Seijou High School uniform. For expressions, it includes three interchangeable face plates: a serious face, a smiling face, and an embarrassed face. Accessories include a fork and a waffle. Furthermore, orders placed through the GOODSMILE official store will include an exclusive hand part holding a milk cup, allowing for various adorable scenes when paired with the previously released "Sakura Kinomoto"!
