Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's prize figure brand BANPRESTO, under its "VIBRATION STARS" series, which recreates characters in dynamic poses as they unleash their moves, will release the latest "Meruem" based on "HUNTER×HUNTER". It will be sold as a prize figure and is expected to debut in July 2025!
The important character from "Hunter x Hunter: Chimera Ant Arc" - the Chimera Ant King Meruem (メルエム), is the strongest Chimera Ant King in history. Even within the Queen's womb, he began absorbing the flesh and Nen of Nen users, enhancing his own Nen abilities while also acquiring the Nen skills of those he absorbed. His personality is childish, brutal, and cold-blooded, believing violence to be the ultimate power. However, after encountering Komugi, a master of Gungi, the King, repeatedly defeated, began to ponder the meaning of life and developed special feelings.
The BANPRESTO prize figure "VIBRATION STARS Meruem" will immortalize his dynamic pose from his battle against Chairman Netero! It faithfully recreates the crown-like structure on the Chimera Ant King's head and his powerful, giant needle-like tail. His physique also features sculpted, robust muscle lines; the pose, with his waist twisted and leaning forward, highlights his striking posterior... His confident smile expresses the Ant King's dominance and coolness!
