The highly popular character model kit series "Figure-rise Standard", released by the HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., announced the latest product from the newest anime series in the Gundam franchise, "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX", the "Nyaan", scheduled for release in July 2025.
Nyaan, one of the main characters, became a refugee in her youth when her hometown was engulfed in war. With no time to confirm her family's safety, she could only escape the colony alone in a mini mobile suit to seek survival. Fortunately, she was rescued by a passing spaceship and settled in the colony "SIDE6" where the protagonist Macho resides. Striving for survival, Nyaan now disguises herself as a food delivery operator, engaging in illegal smuggling.
The "Figure-rise Standard Nyaan" is produced using Bandai's latest color separation and part division technology, largely recreating the colors of her full uniform with multi-color molded parts. Even the purple highlight blocks on her hair are represented by separate parts. The expression parts include one pre-printed "expressionless face" and two expressions to be completed with the included water decals.
In addition to the main body featuring flexible articulation for posing, a wealth of accessories allows for showcasing Nyaan's various appearances. Interchangeable parts can recreate her high ponytail hairstyle, her shirt look with the uniform jacket removed, her disguised food delivery backpack, as well as accessories like sunglasses, headphones, and a mobile phone. Furthermore, it includes "KONCHI," the four-legged walking mechanical partner of Shuji, the mysterious boy who pilots a Gundam in the series.
